Acceleration/Deceleration Technical Indicator (AC) is introduced by Bill Williams in his book “Trading Chaos”. The AC indicator measures acceleration and deceleration of the current driving force (Awesome Oscillator). It is represented in a separated histogram chart. When the AC value of the current bar is greater than the previous bar value, the histogram bar is colored in green (and vice versa - lower value, red bar). According to Mr. Williams this indicator will change direction before any changes in the driving force, which will change its direction before the price. When the AC value is near to the zero line, this means that the driving force is balanced. If Accelerator Oscillator is higher than zero, then it is usually easier for the acceleration to continue the upward movement and we can expect rising of the market price. Normally a green bar of the AC shows us, that we can open a long position and respectively red bar - to enter in a short position.

1. Изчисляваме един Awesome Oscillator като разлика между две Moving Average:

Fast МА = Moving Average (Smoothing method, Base price, Fast MA period)
Slow МА = Moving Average (Smoothing method, Base price, Slow MA period)
AO = Fast MA - Slow MA

2. Изчисляваме една Moving Average базирана на AO:

Forming МА = Moving Average (Smoothing method, AO, Forming MA perioд)

3. Намираме AC като разлика между AO и Forming МА:

AC = AO - Forming МА

Където:

AO - Awesome Oscillator
MA - Moving Averages

Logic - логика на приложение на индикатора:

• The AC rises;
• The AC falls;
• The AC is higher than the Level line;
• The AC is lower than the Level line;
• The AC crosses the Level line upward;
• The AC crosses the Level line downward;
• The AC changes its direction upward;
• The AC changes its direction downward.

Smoothing method - при изчисляването на Accelerator Oscillator, Forex Strategy Builder използва Moving Average за да заглажда стойностите. От това меню можете да изберете метода за изчисляване на MA:

• Simple - обикновенна Moving Average;
• Weighted - претеглена Moving Average;
• Exponential - експоненциална Moving Average;
• Smoothed - загладена Moving Average.

Base Price - базовата цена върху която се изчислява Accelerator Oscillator:

• Open - цената на отваряне на текущият бар;
• High -най-високата цена на бара;
• Low - най-ниската цена на бара;
• Close - цената на затваряне на текущият бар;
• Median - (High + Low) / 2;
• Typical - (High + Low + Close) / 3;
• Weighted - (High + Low + 2 * Close) / 4.

Slow MA period - периодът на Slow MA за изчисляване на Awesome Oscillator.
Минимална стойност: 1; Максимална стойност: 200

Fast MA period - периодът на Fast MA за изчисляване на Awesome Oscillator.
Минимална стойност: 1; Максимална стойност: 200

Forming MA period - периодът на Forming MA за изчисляване на Accelerator Oscillator.
Минимална стойност: 1; Максимална стойност: 200

Level - Forex Strategy Builder исползва стойността Level когато логиката на индикатора е:

• The AC is higher than the Level line;
• The AC is lower than the Level line;
• The AC crosses the Level line downward;
• The AC crosses the Level line upward.

Минимална стойност: -10; Максимална стойност: 10

Use previous bar value - трябва да е маркирано, когато отваряме позиция на цена различна от цена Close на бара и базовата цена на индикатора е различна от цена Open. По този начин сме сигурни, че използваме правилната стойност на индикатора към момента на отваряне на позицията.

В слот “Closing logic condition” това поле не трябва да е отбелязано.

Стойности по подразбиране

• Logic - The AC rises;
• Smoothing method - Simple;
• Base price - Median;
• Slow MA period - 34;
• Fast MA period - 5;
• Forming MA period - 5;
• Level - 0.

1. “Opening logic condition”

В този слот Accelerator Oscillator действа като входящ филтър. Логическото условие, което изразява индикаторът трябва да е изпълнено (заедно с всички други входящи филтри) за да се даде разрешение за влизане в дълга позиция.

За да разреши влизането в къса позиция трябва да е изпълнена огледалната логика на индикатора.

2. “Closing logic condition”

Когато използвате Accelerator Oscillator като изходящ филтър, той ще принуди стратегията да затвори текущата позиция на цена Затваря на бара когато логическоту му условие е изпълнено.
